A farmer could be both legal entity (e.d. LTD) and  a sole proprietor (ET), or an individual over 18.

The farmer is registered with an activity of stockbreeding or land cultivation. The land registered by the farmer can be his own or rented. Tobacco growers also have the right to register as farmers.

The advantages of the registered farmer are that he has the right to apply for and after approval to receive financial support from the state under national programs and European projects. It also has the right to sell its products on markets throughout the country without a cash register. And last but not least – it can use preferences in the payment of social health insurance and UPF /Universal Pension Funds, for those born after 1960/.

A disadvantage noted by our clients is that the farmer is a self-employed person and often has to use the services of an accountant.
